• A WorldWeb.com Travel Guide to Parks & Gardens in Stanway, GLS, England.
Stanway House is a Jacobean stately home constructed by the Tracy line of the Earls of Wemyss, beginning in the 16th century. Before that, it housed four monks as the Tewkesbury Abbey. It sits surrounded by fantastic landscaped water gardens which feature a spectacular fountain, constructed in 2004 and the tallest in the United Kingdom, as their centrepiece.
